Chequed.com uses behavioral modeling to provide analytics about a job applicant's potential. The software helps companies assess whether an employee is a good cultural fit, a fast learner, better suited to repetitive tasks, their potential for leadership, and a host of other factors. Chequed.com assesses an applicant through a questionnaire, but the analysis is tailored to meet the needs of the hiring company and the particular job. The Saratoga Springs, N.Y.-based company acquired Fitability because it has been doing behavioral assessments for a decade and has a large database that will strengthen Chequed.com's services, said Greg Moran, its president and founder. The service is aimed at companies that do extensive hiring, Moran said. Chequed.com was founded about a year ago on research from the State University of New York.
