Greg Moran, President / Founder


Greg Moran

Utilizing more than a decade of human capital management, sales and leadership experience, Greg Moran is President and CEO of Chequed.com. Greg is also author of Building the Talent Edge: A Field Managers Guide to Recruiting the Best (Spring 2005) and Hire, Fire and The Walking Dead (June 2006, W Business Books).
Previously, Greg served as Founder and VP of Sales for PeopleAnswers America, a leading provider of behavioral assessment software to mid market and large companies in North America. Before PeopleAnswers America, Greg founded and served as President of Pinnacle Technology Solutions, an executive search, staffing, and human capital management services firm. Also, Moran served as Vice President of Best Resume/Career Management Services in Latham, NY. During his tenure, he co-authored Job Hunting: The Ten Best Steps to Success, a job search workshop and audio/video tape series. He is a rising thinker in the field of human capital management, having been quoted in numerous national publications including Business Week, The Wall Street Journal, and Inc. Magazine.

John Tobison, Chief Operating Officer

John Tobison is responsible for developing the workforce, systems and business processes that enable Chequed.com to build on its rapid growth and market success. His responsibilities include oversight of product management, software development and quality assurance, information technology, client services, and research and development.

Mr. Tobison brings two decades of top-level experience, previously serving as Chief Information Officer at MapInfo, a Troy-based mapping software firm that is now part of Pitney Bowes Business Insight, and as Chief Information Officer and Chief Services Officer at CommerceHub, an Albany-based merchandising and fulfillment software platform for the largest online retailers in North America.

Gary Ito, Chief Financial Officer


Gary Ito serves as Chief Financial Officer of Assess Systems, a leading provider of comprehensive employment assessments, and Chequed.com, a leading provider of cloud-based Predictive Talent Selection™ technology, which have combined to form a world-class Human Capital Management (HCM) software and services firm.

A seasoned global finance leader with a proven track record across all critical disciplines, Ito has more than 30 years of experience in developing, structuring and implementing innovative financial and business strategies for both publicly traded and privately held companies worldwide.

Ito previously served as CFO for Allegro Development Corporation, a Dallas-based global leader in energy trading and risk management software solutions; as CFO for INTTRA, the world’s largest multi-carrier network for the ocean shipping industry; at Ariba, the world’s business commerce network combining industry-leading cloud-based applications with the world’s largest Internet-based trading community; and CFO of Quadrem, a global and growth-focused B2B e-commerce company. He also spent nearly 18 years with Nortel, a global supplier of end-to-end networking products and solutions for both service providers and enterprise customers, where he served in leadership roles in finance, business planning, and product line management.

Ito earned a bachelor’s degree in Engineering at the University of Toronto and an MBA in Finance from Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario. He also holds the designation of Chartered Professional Accountant, Certified Management Accountant (Ontario, Canada).

Kevin Williams, Chief Science Officer

Kevin Williams

Kevin Williams is responsible for the scientific development, research and vision for behavioral science which underpins Chequed.com.

Currently, Kevin is the Chair of the Department of Psychology at the State University of New York at Albany as well as Dean of Graduate Studies.

Kevin has been active participant in the Industrial/Organizational Psychology field for over 2 decades. Prior to his time as the State University of New York at Albany, Kevin served as an Associate Professor of Psychology at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, NY. Kevin received his Ph.D. at the University of South Carolina.

Michael Gladden, VP of Technology

Michael Gladden

Michael Gladden is a seasoned technologist, entrepreneur, and investor with over 25 years of experience developing applications for the human resources, financial services, healthcare, and telecommunications sectors. As Vice President of Technology for Chequed.com he oversees the technology strategy and development for Chequed.com’s products.

Mr. Gladden has co-founded numerous organizations including Fitability Systems (acquired by Chequed in October 2009), Tallgrass Solutions (acquired by Profitline in 2005), American Teledata Systems, and Applied Performance Systems. Mr. Gladden has been directly involved in the design, development, and full life cycle of software and technology initiatives. In addition to developing technology, he has provided technical and strategy consulting to large corporations.

Michael is an avid sport fisherman and loves to be on or near the water.

George Ehinger, VP of Business Development

George Ehinger is an accomplished sales and marketing professional with over 25 years in leadership positions in high growth companies. During the boom and bust cycle of Web 1.0, Ehinger served as senior vice president of the San Francisco-based cable television channel TechTV, formerly ZDTV. Previously, Ehinger was Vice President of New York based Scholastic, Inc. where he led the turnaround efforts of a fledgling magazine, Home Office Computing, turning the money losing property into the highly profitable Scholastic SOHO Group. Ehinger began his career with MCI Telecommunications in New York City. During his eight-year tenure, the company grew from $500 million in sales to over $5 billion.

Mr. Ehinger is the founder of Beam Reach, Inc., a Saratoga Springs, NY, firm providing angel investment and business advisory services to early stage companies. Portfolio companies include Revision3 — the first TV Network exclusively distributed on the internet; Logical Images — an image based diagnostic tool for the health care industry; and Skyworks — a leading game developer for the ipad/iphone.
