I forgot my login information.
You can use the Forgot Password/Forgot Username feature at http://app.chequed.com . You will receive an email with the requested information from noreply@chequed.com.

The password that was sent to me is not working. When I enter my login information, I get a message stating that my login or password is incorrect.

Try this – make sure there are no extra spaces at the beginning or end of your email address or password.  Sometimes when copying and pasting your login information into the login fields, an extra, blank space gets included.  This extra space will prevent the login information from working.   You can always use the Forgot Password button on the login page to reset your password. When you click on Forgot Password another email will be sent to you with a new, temporary password.  IF you don’t see that email in your inbox, please check your spam/junk folders.

What browsers/operating systems does Chequed.com support?
Chequed.com works well with, IE 9, IE 10, IE 11, Firefox 27, Firefox 28, Firefox 29, Google Chrome 33, Google Chrome 34 and Google Chrome 35. PLEASE NOTE: You may experience issues using an older browser with Chequed.com. If your browser is more than 3 years old WE RECCOMEND updating your browser before you register for Chequed Questionnaires. **MOBILE DEVICES** – Only the newest version Chequed.com supports mobile platforms HOWEVER Chequed does not have a mobile version at this time.

I’ve added my references.  How do I send them an invitation?
Your hiring manager controls when your references receive invitations. Your references will receive an invitation when the hiring manager wants check your references. You are only requested to add your reference information at this point.

I don’t have email addresses for references.  What should I do?
The system requires a valid, unique email address for each reference.  You can always login again at a later time to add email addresses for your references. DO NOT add fake email addresses. Your hiring manager will be able to view your application and the results of any completed questionnaires. Please contact your hiring manager to discuss any issues regarding your references.

Why is my status still “Active”? I have added the minimum number of references required.  
If your emails – displayed as “New” – are being held by the hiring company, your status will remain “Active” until they initiate the reference check.  The reference portion of your application will be listed as Complete once the minimum number of references required completes their email surveys from Chequed.com™.  You can monitor the progress of your references and send reminders to them from the My References page.

Why does my reference status remain “New”?
The status of your references displays “New” because the company that you have applied to has selected to release email surveys at their discretion.  Your references will be contacted when the company initiates the reference check by releasing the system emails. When this happens, you’ll see the status of your references change from “New” to “Sent.”

How long will it be before someone contacts me about my application?
Chequed licenses our software to numerous clients. We do not communicate with companies regarding their hiring decisions. That is the sole discretion of the company you have applied to.  We cannot provide contact information for the company you applied to. We urge you visit their website and contact them directly.

My reference(s) did not receive my invitation email.
The Chequed.com email sent to your references is an automated message and could be mistaken for spam. If your reference did not receive an email, have them check their spam/junk folder. You can send your reference a reminder email from your Chequed.com account by clicking “Remind” next to your reference’s name to send another email to them.

I want to edit my reference’s information but the edit pencil no longer appears.
You will no longer be able to edit your reference’s information once your reference starts filling out the questionnaire. References are asked to review the information that you provided about them, and correct anything that needs it.

I don’t see a Submit or Complete button after I answer all the questions. What do I do?
Once you have answered all of the questions, a “Submit” button appears at the very top and very bottom of the page. If you do not see the Submit button, click  the “Next” button on the right (DO NOT USE YOUR BROWSER’S BACK BUTTON). Any unanswered questions will be highlighted in red text. Once you’ve answered the remaining questions, the “Submit” button will appear at the top or bottom of the page.

Can I log out without completing the questionnaire and come back to it later?
You may log in at any time to complete remaining steps or to add references. You do not have to complete all of the steps at the time of your first log in.

I can’t log in. It says “Candidate Already Invited for this “Position and it won’t allow me take the assessment. What should I do?
You have previously registered to take the assessment either by entering the email address you are using, or by clicking a link through an online application. You should have received an email with your log in credentials from noreply@chequed.com. You can use the Forgot Password/Forgot Username feature at http://app.chequed.com. You will receive an email with the requested information from noreply@chequed.com.
